Savannah, GA. March 1, 2019 – Bank OZK representatives Lisa Tolliver, Community Development Manager, and Kris Brinker, Vice President of Commercial Banking, presented a $10,000 contribution to the Small Business Assistance Corporation (SBAC) to be used towards small and micro business development programs in the Savannah area. SBAC President Tony O’Reilly, Controller Victoria Saxton, and Mark Corrigan, Chairman of the Board of Directors, accepted the check on behalf of SBAC.
Small Business Assistance Corporation, located at 111 E. Liberty, Suite 100 in Savannah, is a non-profit Community Development Financial Institution, dedicated to creating access to business capital for entrepreneurs and businesses that have difficulty obtaining business loans from traditional lenders because of shortcomings in their credit profile.
The Bank OZK contribution will be used primarily to lend to businesses in low/moderate income neighborhoods or low-income individuals aspiring to lift themselves from poverty through entrepreneurship. SBAC deploys a wide variety of loan programs in the City of Savannah and surrounding counties to achieve small /micro business development.
