What does a provider do?
A service provider works directly with our small business clients to provide technical assistance through workshops, consultations, one-on-one assistance, or webinars.
What is technical assistance (TA)?
Technical assistance (TA) is the process of providing targeted support to an organization with a development need or problem. TA is an effective method for building capacity of an organization.
How will my business benefit from being a service provider?
SBAC will market and refer clients to your business for services. Currently, SBAC is offering scholarships to clients for technical assistance in which you will be paid directly for services provided.
How can I become a service provider?
All service providers must complete an application describing their business and services provided. The application requires an uploaded copy of your local business license.
To work with SBAC, a business must:
- Be registered with Secretary of State
- Have a current business license to operate at a local level
- Be in business for at least 2 years
- Be in operations with a working email/phone/website
- Provide TA approved services to small businesses

- Legal
- Information Technology (IT)
- Insurance
- Human Resources
- Other business consulting services and training
