Small Business Lender of the Year goes to the loan officer most active in SBAC loan originations and referrals in terms of FUNDED loans.
SBAC’s 2021 Small Business Lender of the Year to Jamie DeLoach, Vice President and Business Banker for Ameris Bank in Effingham County. While Jamie’s loan referrals earned him a place at the top of the leader board, it should be noted that his contribution to our region’s Small Business Community goes beyond loan volume.
Jamie was born and raised in Effingham County and graduated from Effingham County High School. He has been a banker for over 14 years in his home market. After earning a BBA in Marketing plus an MBA in Business Management from GA Southern, he went back to his roots and began his banking career as a Branch Manager and Loan Officer at Citizens Bank of Effingham. He then served in those same roles at The Coastal Bank and moved on to become a Business Banker for Ameris, where he currently serves.
Jamie is currently in his second term as an Effingham County Commissioner for District 3.
