ABOUT OUR COMPANY
The Small Business Assistance Corporation (SBAC) is a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), certified by the U.S. Department of Treasury. SBAC is also a Certified Development Company (CDC) licensed by the U. S. Small Business Administration (SBA), and contracted by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Georgia’s Department of Community Affairs (DCA), and the City of Savannah, to promote small business development through financing and technical assistance. We offer a wide variety of loan programs for new and existing businesses in our area.
SBAC is dedicated to providing professional small business support services to small businesses in Southeast Georgia and the Lowcountry of South Carolina. We strive for socio-economic improvement for all citizens through the expansion of small businesses by systematic focus on equitable access to capital management assistance and business opportunities for all segments of our community. Through these efforts, we will create employment for low- or moderate-income people and revitalize low-income communities.
It is the intent of SBAC to invest monies in existing, expanding businesses that will create or retain jobs, providing a positive economic impact within its community.
