Aldreka Campbell, a registered nurse since 2005, and owner of Essential Me Aesthetics and Wellness (Formerly known as Aldrjoy Hydration), started her career at St. Joseph’s Hospital, specializing in day surgery and patient prep. In 2023, she expanded her health expertise by launching Aldrjoy IV Hydration Health and Wellness LLC, focusing on preventative care. Her business offers mobile IV hydration and injection therapy for athletic recovery, hangover relief, detoxification, and more. As the sole employee in the early stages, Campbell provides these services around her hospital schedule, leveraging her weekends and holidays off to run her business.
She was referred to SBAC from UGA SBDC and credits the SBAC for its pivotal role in helping launch her business. Through a microloan, she was able to cover startup costs and get Aldrjoy off the ground. Her journey highlights the importance of preventative health and community wellness, aligning with SBAC’s mission of supporting local businesses through equitable access to capital??.
